What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy, an energy which is all around us. It is also the name given to a system of natural healing which evolved in Japan by Dr Mikao Usui. He developed this healing system from ancient teachings after many years of study, research and meditation.

Reiki is not religious and does not fit with any one belief system. It works on the premise of universal love and a willingness to be treated and return to full health.

You will find the Reiki healing extremely relaxing but at the same time it is working very deeply to remove physical, mental, emotional and spiritual blockages that are preventing you from achieving your optimum health.

You will lie on a couch, fully clothed and be made as comfortable as possible. If lying is a problem then the treatment can be given while you are in a sitting position. The practitioner gently places their hands on your body (completely non-obtrusively) and allows the energies to flow.

What is VortexHealing®?

VortexHealing is a powerful, energetic healing art from the Merlin Lineage, which works solely with divine light and consciousness. Its name is derived from a particular energy vortex that is the interface between our physical world and a special divine healing realm that is accessed in this art. The divine healing realm is composed of seven divine beings. Their sole intention is to manifest healing and help all of us to release on every level.

You will be asked to lie fully clothed on a couch and made comfortable whilst listening to soothing music. Your head will be held gently while the healing energies are being channelled. After the treatment, it is important to drink plenty of water and allow yourself the time to absorb the changes that have occurred.
